600 Group will show an array of new technology on the 600 Centre stand at MACH 2008

Powerful business strategy succeeds

MACH 2008 is the first public demonstration of the powerful business strategy launched by 600 Group at the end of 2006.

Following a major re-evaluation of its performance, the company created an all encompassing business strategy which enables it to provide customers with highest quality, lowest cost machine tool and machine tool accessory solutions available.

The substantial 400m2 stand, operated by its UK distributor 600 Centre, is demonstrating the latest and most effective production techniques throughout the show, and is expecting to be able meet the needs of virtually every visitor to MACH from the production methods it is showing.  The stand, which has 22 of the latest technology machines from some of the world’s best manufacturers, all operating under power, is divided into three areas to make it as easy as possible for customers to locate machines most relevant to their application.

Production Solutions (stand 5128) is dedicated to those customers seeking high technology production methods, turnkey engineering and application-led systems, and will have new machines from both Fuji and Toyoda Mitsui-Seiki on display.  CNC Solutions (stand 5130) for those customers seeking practical, medium technology machines includes the world launch of the Colchester-Harrison Tornado TT6 twin turret turning centre and the UK launch of the latest Fanuc “Mini Mill” VMC.  Value Solutions (stand 5136) is aimed at those who need less expensive options to meet the demands of shorter contracts or tighter budgets and will be displaying completely new ranges of value, high quality machine tools from the Dalian range.

There are also separate stands for Crawford Collets and Pratt Burnerd International (collets, chucks and bespoke workholding systems on stand no 4110) and Electrox laser marking systems (stand no 4510) which completes the Group’s display of their full range of products and services.

Chief Executive of 600 Group, Andrew Dick, said “MACH is even more important to us this year because it is the first visible presentation of the effectiveness of our revised strategy.  Although little more than a year has past since we began to implement the strategy, we are already seeing good success in each of our companies, and we are looking to MACH to display this success and, more importantly, the new machine tools and machine tool accessories which will help our customers to become even more profitable.
